Funding Catholic Causes

Since 1947, CCS has partnered with the Catholic Church to strengthen faith and advance meaningful change for our communities and world.

Helping to raise funds today and strengthen Catholic organizations
for the future, CCS delivers change that counts.

Diocese of Portsmouth

The Diocese of Portsmouth, serving the spiritual and pastoral needs of more than 190,000 Catholics across 93 parishes, embarked on a historic endeavor to help fund the care and support of priests, encourage vocations, educate seminarians, strengthen the ongoing formation of laity, provide funding for future capital projects, and to assist parishes at the local level with capital needs. With full campaign support from CCS, the Diocese raised more than £13.1 million on a goal of £9 million.

Archdiocese of Chicago

Archbishop Cupich and the Archdiocese of Chicago have succeeded in completing the most ambitious archdiocesan campaign in the nation’s history. The To Teach Who Christ Is campaign is the Archdiocese of Chicago’s ambitious effort to fund Catholic schools, religious education, and local parishes. When the campaign stalled in 2014, CCS conducted a rapid review to recalibrate and reenergize the effort. Since then, CCS has partnered with the Archdiocese of Chicago to help it surpass its $350 million goal.

More Perspectives

“The prospect of large financial goals and the hard work needed to achieve them can frighten even the most dedicated people. CCS helped us look both these challenges in the eye and overcome them."

Most Reverend Larry Silva

Bishop of the Diocese of Honolulu

"After careful research we chose CCS and I am happy that we did. CCS has been invaluable by bringing the required expertise, experience, and knowledge to maximize the campaign’s potential. I would recommend CCS, without reservation."

Reverend Daniel Leonard

Pastor, Christ the King Church, Denver, CO

“In fundraising, volunteer committees need a professional partner who knows how and when to guide, and how and when to ‘push’… through three successful campaigns, I found that partner in CCS.”

John T. Paul

Campaign Co-Chair, St. Joseph’s Preparatory School

“Living Our Faith, under the leadership of Bishop Crispian Hollis, has been an outstanding success in the Diocese of Portsmouth. We have experienced new ways of working together, focused on our priorities, and not least raised over £13.3 million to provide for training of future priests and laity.”

Reverend Monsignor Thomas McGrath, V.G.

Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, Diocese of Portsmouth

“The exceptional work and ‘can-do’ attitude of CCS provided both inspiration and motivation as our parish raised money for a new church and parish center. Our campaign would not have achieved the same level of success without the guidance and counsel of CCS.”
